Yasumi
An invitation to unwind into deep rest.
Yasumi—from the Japanese verb meaning to rest—is inspired by the concept of Yutori, or spaciousness. It is an invitation to slow down and create room for rest, renewal, and quiet pleasure.
Yasumi Mini Retreat
A blissful sensorial journey of exploration—touch, scent, sound, sight, and imagination—reawakened through simple rituals that are often lost in the momentum of daily life. Through gentle observation and embodied practice, we begin to reconnect with our natural state of sensuality: taking pleasure in simplicity, discovering joy in presence, and savouring the fullness of each moment as it unfolds.
Relax into a luxurious Yasumi mini-retreat as your spirit is soothed through sound, breathwork, restorative movement, and the exploration of simple pleasures and rituals. Expect to emerge from the experience with a blissful sense of well-being.

Yasumi Gentle Mobility
This restorative class is designed to release tension, improve flexibility, enhance mobility, and support recovery. Through myofascial release, deep stretching, and breathwork, the practice helps restore balance—bringing freedom of movement and leaving you feeling light, open, and at ease in both your body and mind.

About Rachel Noé
Noé is a Japanese-Canadian holistic practitioner, voice artist and performer who weaves sound therapy, ritual and restorative movement into her Yasumi classes and retreats. While she holds extensive training in voice, fitness, yoga, and performance, the true power of her work lies in her deep intentionality and her reverence for sound and movement as sacred tools for restoration.
After many years of study and training in physical fitness and athletic movement, Noé recognized her body’s need for deeper rest and recovery. This awareness led her to begin focusing on restorative practices, such as breathwork, myofascial release, and sound therapy.
At the heart of Noé’s teaching is the cultivation of balance—knowing when to challenge the body and when to rest, and developing the awareness to honor what the mind and body need in each moment.
Offering private, group, and online classes.

When despair for the world grows in me
and I wake in the night at the least sound
in fear of what my life and my children’s lives may be,
I go and lie down where the wood drake
rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds.
I come into the peace of wild things
who do not tax their lives with forethought
of grief. I come into the presence of still water.
And I feel above me the day-blind stars
waiting with their light. For a time
I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.
